A solid concrete block is a precast concrete masonry unit that is characterised by being fully dense, meaning it contains no large voids or cavities. A block is technically classified as "solid" if solid material makes up more than 75% of its total volume or mass. They are also commonly known as concrete bricks. Unlike hollow blocks, they do not have a formal grading system but are specifically designed for maximum strength and durability
